I know this isn't something new to us - here in the Philippines but as what I've heard from my father and sis, US has been really hit by the downfall of their economy! It was bound to happen for sure with all the illegals, outsourced jobs and so many other factors that ruins the economy. You wouldn't think it will happen there knowing that it's where everybody tries to go and find greener pasture! Right now, there are so many businesses/companies that are going bankrupt. Stores closing, people loosing jobs and just the bad time for my father to be there. They've been hunting jobs the day he got there but no luck til now! Any  simple or even any logistics jobs are tough to find.So, they are kinda hoping it would be better for my father to be in Chicago with his close friend who lives there for more than 10yrs and thought that they could both find a job for him in that big city! I wish them luck!
